Wagons aren't the best-selling body styles in Germany, but the Porsche Tycoon Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo prove that popularity isn't everything. They're the tall-roof station wagon alternative to the attractive electric Tican sedan, which we review separately, and they offer a larger back seat and extra cargo space than their conventional counterpart. However, unlike sedans, wagons only come with a dual-motor all-wheel drive powertrain. Maximum driving range is an EPA-estimated 235 miles. The Cross Turismo Turbo S ranges from 469 to 750 horsepower for base Cross Turismos. There's also a 590-hp Sport Turismo GTS that sheds the Cross Turismo's body cladding and adds an SUV-inspired ride height. The high-quality interior makes both wagons a joy to ride in, and the CrossTurismo's extra ground clearance may make it easier for some to get out of the passenger compartment.
However, both the Cross and Sport Turismo models offer less range than the regular Tican. Like a photoshopped homage to the 928 concept that spanned the '80s, the CrossTurismo is a more pedestrian version of the SportTurismo . In total, there are now five different versions of the Taycan wagon alone. Is it crazy? Yes. But even the base Taycan 4 Cross Turismo packs a powerful punch. 469 horsepower is on tap and it will hit 60 in less than 5 seconds. Base price is around $100k - and if that's not high enough (or fast enough) for you, the Turbo S Turismo Cross Turismo will halve your $200k sum by up to 60 times. Today's car may be a base model, but it has some neat wheels and a nice interior color:
